I would venture to guess that if you already knew you were pregnant (most pregnancy tests do not pick up beta-HCG until the level is about 25), then yes, you have had a miscarriage.

That said, noone can diagnose your condition over the internet, and your OB/Gyn should monitor your HCG levels.

In some instances, you can have a level of 13, and only be 3-5 days pregnant. In that case, your HCG level should double in the next 48 hours. If it continues to decline, then that is diagnostic of miscarriage. You should still watch it to be sure it goes all the way down to zero - if it does not, you may have a condition called a hydatidaform mole, or choriocarcinoma, which requires surgery to correct.
