Why is Osama bin Laden's death so important?

Because Osama Bin Ladan is a Muslim terrorist who lead a terrorist group called Al-Quada, the most dangerous terrorist group in the world, he wanted to do something that had something to do with bombing, taking over the world, destroying, and some other things that I don't really know why he wanted to do or what ever he was doing.
