What are the origins of the Turkish people?

well,as a Turkish person, i know quite a bit if Turkish culture.firstly Turkish people love their food, and the most popluar Turkish dishes would almost always consist of meat,chicken and fish.

secondly, on Ramadan (kurban bayram), many Turkish families would go to their elders house such as their grandma etc ( annanne,buyukbaba, etc) and would pay their respects,this would be done by kissing the back of the elders hand and lfting it to your forehead as a sign of appreciation and respect.

lastly, football is the most popular sport in turkey,almost everyone is a football supporter, and almost everyone supporting the top four ie besiktas,fenerbahce,galatasary and trabzonspor.
