How is hockey related to math?

Every sport is related to science. Then again everything is related to science.

In hockey:

* The skater moves on ice since the ice under the blades melts and lubricates the ice/blade interface (Physics, Thermodynamics)

* Players rebound from each other as the exchange of kinetic energy takes place (Kinetics)

* The shot puck moves in a straight line following tNewton's Laws of Motion.(Physics) * Players wear pads to rduce the impact of the pucks inertia (Physics)

* The ice is formed by heat exchange with compressed gas or brine (Thermodynamics)

* The Zamboni lays down a layer of water that can freeze quickly enough for h next period (Physics, Mechanical Engineering)

* Teams wear different coolurs so colur perception can separate the players (Optics) * Cuts are disinfected (Medicine) * Stats are kept (Math and Probability) * The arena is lit (Electrical Engineering) * The sticks ad skates are alloys (Metallurgy) * The gaes are televised (Electronics)
