Explain how you would like to try the existing products and new products and that you are only a limited income, as obviously if you could afford to, you would buy them and not be asking for freebies, right?

Offer to work in exchange for the goods (barter).

Go to your local church and other charity organisations and they will give you free products or even vouchers to go shopping.
