Are cypress trees good around a pool?

the roots can create issues in future when the tree mature, to avoid that keep 3 ft distance away from theconcreteslaps and when you plant them be sure the roots are at least 24 inches below the concretesurfacefor zero damage, I have them around my pool for the last 12 years no issues.
