What does xanax do for you?

The best I can relate any benzo including xanax would be how a psychopath feels.
It completely inhibits any feeling of anxiety, so you have how you speak to people. It prevents you from feeling any embarrassment . It takes away my ability to feel any empathy for people also, so I can resort to violence easily if someone pisses me off when on a benzo. It makes me feel like I have the right to talk down to anyone. I don't feel fear about anything, I have been very close to getting hit on my bike numerous times because I cross and intersection without looking. Also if I get angry when on xanax, its hard to not result to getting physical because I feel so dominant and have no fear. Overall its a horrible pharmaceutical. The addiction potential is so high and withdrawals are horrible and you can die. So ya if your goal is to go around like a zombie not feeling any emotion like a psychopath, then benzos are the right drug.
