Does a white tailed deer hibernate?

In the woods. Usually in a grassy area where they can hide as they sleep. They will also bed down in a field if the grass or crops are high enough. They like to sleep where the grass is tall enough for them to hide but be short enough for them to lift their head and see over it for predators.
