1 lb is equal to 3500 calories if you run 3 miles every other day it equals to approx 300 cal. (1mile=approx 100 cals) so youd really have to watch your calorie intake and eat the right calories (food) to have energy. you could do cardio workouts to to burn more cals so your total lost for the week would be higher. So eat less , and eat more healthy.
