Is Dr Ruth a real Dr?

Dr. Ruth Westheimer is a doctor in that she has a PhD in education. She also has a master's degree in psychology and specialized in sexual education. She is not a doctor in terms of having a medical degree.

But nevertheless, she really knows her stuff and has been a big spokesman in terms of sex education.
