How do you make your own compound?

To make CPU heatsink compound, add

8 parts White Silicon Grease to:

2 Parts Zinc Oxide

1 Part White Lithium Grease

Mix well and apply a small amount to the corner areas of the CPU as well as a very thin diagonal trace from corner to corner of the cpu X .

Do not over apply the mixtue as you want to avoid leakage past the edges of the cpu when assembling the heat sink to the cpu.
