I am a boy and yes it is true He's obviously interested in you for some reason. Whether or not that reason is his liking you is something only he would know. If you're interested in learning what he thinks of you or if you just want to make sure he's not some kind of freak you could try talking to his friends, or ask one of your friends to have a Word with him in private.
