When you open google in your browser, several processes occur across the OSI model. First, at the Application Layer (Layer 7), your browser sends an HTTP request to google's server. This request is then passed down through the Transport Layer (Layer 4), where it is encapsulated in a TCP segment, and further down to the internet Layer (Layer 3), where it is packaged into an IP packet for routing. Finally, at the Data Link Layer (Layer 2), the packet is converted into frames for transmission over the physical network, allowing the request to reach google's servers.
