I don't think you have sinned if you rip the page of a Bible. However, if you cut out parts of the Bible that you don't like or agree with, then you are falsifying the Word as given by God. One of the founding fathers of this country who was thought to be a very smart and upright citizen quite literally cut Words and phrases out of his Bible.
