How do you turn blackberry curve to vibrate?

I have a blackberry pearl and what i do to set it to vibrate is find the icon on my phone that looks like a speaker or megaphone and click on it with my track ball then it shows a list of icons and i choose the one that says vibrate

Simply press and hold the # key on some BlackBerries. To get it off vibrate (manner mode), press and hold # key again.

Here is another tip: quick way to voice mail.... press and hold 1. Works on mine!
