I have a manual. unplug. remove back screws. remove entire back board (with motor)(unplug the wire connector. remove the long plastic support rod by pinching pointed ends and pushing them back thru their holes (take a picture if you think you won't remember how to reinstall). Push side panels apart at the top to remove top roller. Do the same for bottom roller. Remove pad from rolling tubes to clean. Vacuum the filter pad very gently and wash by hand woth MILD detergent. Put pad back on the rolling tubes. *Be sure top rolling tube is positioned so that the locking slot matches up with the drive motor*. Be sure pad is centered on the tubes so it rolls smoothly when operating, not touching the main unit sides. The manual shows how it fits together, so take lots of pictures during the whole process if you don't own the manual. It is easy actually.
Main tank: Remove filter pad as above. 1/2 teaspoon bleach in 2 gallons of water to clean. A hard water scale remover can be used after couple of years. These two solutions are for scrubbing with a soft brush. For lesser cleaning: just use the bleach mixed with water in the main resovoir at the top right hand side. drain plug is on the bottom of the main unit.
Note: Lift top lid and you see 2 compartments separtated by a divider. Left side is for ice cubes only, no water. Right side (larger hole) is for water, the water gauge is on front bottom right. Fill up to 80% of the window hole gauge. Larger ice cubes last MUCH MUCH longer. Use 2" square cubes if you have trays to make them. Soft silicone 2" cube trays are great. We have 6 of them, each makes 8 cubes. So there is always ice in the Celcius!
