Wow, that is a tough one. From a Christian perspective I would pray and ask God if he is meant for you. If so, then just wait it out for it will not last between them. If you receive a no, then I am afraid you will have to accept the current situation. Sometimes, answers to not come immediately, so just try being his friend and eventually something will happen. Just hang in there. I know it is hard, but God has a plan for everyone. Another Answer I mostly agree with the above, but I don't think you should wait around for something to happen. If God has this boy in His plan, then it will happen whether you wait around or not. God is a wonderful God, but He does what He does in His own time and for His own reasons.
