What kind of training does it take to become a Speech Therapist?

In the United States and Canada it requires a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology. You can have a Bachelor's Degree in an associated field first, such as psychology, education, languages/linguistics, ect...The programs are 2-3 years long depending on the school and the kind of pre-requisite courses you've obtained. I am a Speech-Language Pathologist.
