Is there a problem with Marlin lever action rifles like the model 1894 in 44RemMag. A dealer told me that many new shipments had to be returned because the rifles all had QC issues. Is that true?

From what I have read yes these statements are true.marlin has moved into a brand new factory and has installed brand new equipment and CNC machines to be cost effective in todays market.The many employes with many years of service retired and there knowledge was lost.Marlin is attempting to make the best selling models first with others coming on-line as tooling becomes installed.Unfortunately the new employes are learning as they go,so give marlin some time to fix there problems.
