Nearest foreign country to US

Well, it depends on what part of the US you are in. There are three countries that border the US. Mexico, Canada, and Russia (near Alaska). If you lived in Guam, which is part fo the US - then the Federated States of Micronesia and Philippines would be closest. Cuba is not too far away - 90 miles. Generally, people will usually answer Canada and Mexico.
