What are the duties and responsibility of a stock receiver in the supermarket?

Different compnies will have different requirements. However, generically they will require the employee to beable to;

Read delivery notes and be good at maths to be able to count in stock deliveries, Be able to read and understand storge requiements of a range of stock types, be able to handle (normally) up to 25 kilos of weight and or use manual stock trucks (this is normally taught as part of the job)

Be mindful of security of stock, be able to work quickly and accuratley. be flexiable in what role they have to take each shift, mainatin hygenic and safe waork areas. In some cases drive fork lifts and store staco at height. In some cases work in TCE (Temperature Controlled Environments)
