I have a seascape signed by Maccarin. I am trying to find out about the artist.?

I also just purchased a seascape signed by Maccarin: "Breakers on the Rocks", but I can't find out anything about Maccarin or his work. The only clue I have when I google this particular work is that is was sold at an auction in the U.K. in 1994 ( http://www.artfact.com/auction-lot/maccarin-breakers-on-the-rocks-oil-on-canvas-s-1-c-fgd88098fi) , but nothing else registers on this artist. I do know that I love his work. Have you had any luck tracking more information down? Jennifer
