What is a 4 way medal?

A 4-way medal is a ROman Catholic medal shaped like a cross that incorporates images from four popular Catholic medals: 1. The scapular medal which for many replaces the brown wool scapular; 2. The Miraculous Medal, often called the Medal of the Immaculate Conception; 3. The St. Joseph Medal, honoring Jesus' foster father; 4. The St. Christoper Medal, often worn by travelers.
