Why policies are developed?

polisies are developed for a number of resons. some of which are to help protect the staff and services users from being hurt but also to prevent unprofessional conduct from taking place.

some policies are in place to prevent people from getting injured or to reduce the risk such as health and safety policies where others have come from more serious incident which have happened else where such as child protection policies and every child matters.
