What is the scientific reason for lord Vishnu wearing peacock feather?

Why do u listen to for example Rock Music and not Pop Music. U have a preference for somethings. In the same way god to has those preferences. He wears it because he likes to. We are part and parcel of god so what ever characteristic he has we also have them however in the material world it is tainted.
