First thing to do is to scan for any WiFi networks that you may be able to access. You may struggle here as many WiFi networks now require a passWord. However, there are free access WiFi networks in many pubs, coffee shops and stores now that you can use. Lastly if you have an internet capable phone you can use it as a "tether" to access the internet from your laptop. This method does work but may require some setting up.
