The right answer according to any manufacture is to take it to the dealership. But if you are not close to one, that may be a challenge, right? PN# HP 7010 from K&N is the filter element you need. It is a replaceable element that goes inside a plastic housing. So it will not look like a traditional oil filter that you may be used to seeing. Put the car on a lift or jackstands so you can safety remove the front plastic skid plate. You will need a 3mm Allen wrench or 1/8"Allen or the seven screws. At this point you are ready to drain the oil and remove the plastic oil filter housing located in front of the center of the oil pan facing down. A large adjustable wrench will o the job, just be careful not to leave the wrench loose and round the edges over. Once it is off, swap the filter element and re-install.
