What is the answer to page 9.2 in punchline algebra book A How can you tell van Winkle's trousers?

people keep saying the answer is ' they have a rip in them' but that it to long to fit in the box. there is only 20 spaces! are you sure that is the answer? or do i just do not put spaces in between the letters? Help please!
