What did Barack Obama's Father do in Kenya?

Barack Obama's father was a young man when he came from Kenya to America to study at the University of Hawaii. He married Barack's mom (Ann Dunham) and young Barack was born. While in the United States, his dad studied economics, and ultimately returned to Kenya, where he worked as an economist for the government.
