1979 is the most common date for Susan B. Anthony dollars -- hundreds of millions of them were minted, so they are very common.
They are made of a sandwich of copper & nickel -- like quarters are -- so they have no silver in them.
Being as common as they are, even in mint uncirculated condition, they are only worth a couple of dollars at best.
The first answer is correct UNLESS it is a 1979 P Near Date variety (sometimes called a Wide Rim variety) which would retail for $12. Or a 1979 S Type II proof which lists for $110. Even the 1979 S Type I proof lists at $8
