Is Nike an American company

Nike is an American company that makes sports shoes and equipment. It's head office is based in Oregon but it has never manufactured a shoe in the US! It first began having its shoes made in Japan then later S Korea and Taiwan and eventually now in China and countries in Indochina such as Vietnam.
