Harry Moore as the forty-second Governor of New Jersey, serving between January 21, 1941 and January 18, 1944. Following the end of Edison's term as Governor, Walter Evans Edge (born November 20, 1873 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; died October 29, 1956 in New York, New York) served his second term as the thirty-sixth Governor of New Jersey, serving between January 18, 1944 and January 21, 1947.
