When is Captain Underpants and the return of tippy tinkle trousers coming out to buy?

It was scheduled to be released on May 29, 2009, but it is not in stores or available for online purchase. There is no updated release date as of yet on the Captain Underpants or Scholastic websites. It is unknown if the book has been canceled, or simply delayed.
