How do you download custom content for the sims 2?

If you download off a site like Mod The Sims 2, this is what you have to do. # Make a folder for your downloads. It doesn't matter where as long as it isn't in your sims file. # Click on the download you want # I think that a screen will pop up that says "Do you want to Save or Open" # Choose Save # When the folder chooser thing pops up, browse until you find the folder you made for your downloads. # Know the name of the download file that you are saving. # Save # Go to that file # Click on the download that you just saved. # Right Click, click where it says extract or unzip. # (extract to that folder... for RAR files you will need a program like WinRAR) # Go to your documents go to Ea Games click on The Sims 2 click on Downloads # Create a folder with a name that has something to do with your download. # Go back to your folder with the download in it. # Highlight the files that were extracted to the folder. # Right click # move to... The folder that you made in your Sims 2 Download folder. (Hope I helped!) # Go to your documents. # Click EA Games # Click The Sims 2 # There should be a Downloads file in there with your downloads # Unzip any files you have downloaded and enjoy To Unzip - Right click, and then find where it says Extract All, follow instructions there. Don't put your downloads into the file in the Programs File (They will not work)
