How do you close a moon roof with a battery?

Assuming that the switch has failed, the battery is dead, or the relay or fuse is non-functional. First off, make sure you use a 12volt battery. Remove the switch cover/housing. Unplug the electrical contact plug. More than likely, there will only be 2 wires. Run a wire from each contact post on the charged battery. Attach the ground/negative wire first, then the positive wire. If nothing happens, reverse the contact wires. This is a temporary solution. I would not recommend continuing use of this configuration without a fuse or relay.
