Sort of. You have to work at it with both diet and exercise. Doing crunches is really helpful. What you have to remember is to keep it up. You can't just do a few once a month and expect your belly fat to disappear. Try and do it everyday. If that seems unfun, try some other things like Pilates or Zumba!
