How often should you feed a 4 week pup?

A puppy will nurse from its mom until roughly 6 to 7 weeks. If the Mom is not nursing her pups at 4 weeks something is wrong with the mom, get her to a vet immediately.

After the pups are 6 weeks you may offer them baby cereal in the morning made with goats milk, NEVER regular milk, not skim, only goats milk or puppy replacement. At lunch and dinner mix a little canned pedigree for puppies with warm water, make sure its for puppies. Feed them this in a VERY shallow dish as they will fall into this and could possibly drown.

When giving water depending on the size of the pup, it should be no deeper than half the size of their nose.

Remember, these pups are like babies, you need to use your head.
