There are several different meanings for the Word "free."

自由(な/の) jiyuu (na/no) = having freedom

只(の) tada (no) OR 無料 muryou = no cost, free of charge

暇(な) hima (na) OR 手空き teaki = free time, leisure

不 fu- OR 無 mu- = negating prefix, being free from something, omitting

something (e.g. 無塩 muen = salt free, 不凍 futou = ice free)

可用 kayou = available, not being used

空いている aiteiru = vacant (room)

遠慮のない enryo no nai = uninhibited, unreserved
