Is chris brochu related to Richard thomas?

I wondered this too!! They look so much alike! internet research would suggest not. His mother is a talent agent and he has two actor siblings, but I can find no connection between him and Richard Thomas, who was married to another woman at the time Chris was born. Short of an illicit affair, the resemblance would seem to be a coincidence.....
