Mary I, (Bloody Mary!) was surnamed Tudor, She was the daughter of King Henry VIII The Merry Monarch Indeed! and Katharine of Aragon, Henry"s first wife. Katharine of Aragon, as the name indicates was Spanish. Mary I and Elizabeth I were half-sisters with the common dad of Henry Viii. Mary died in l558 and was succeeded by Elizabeth, who was the last Tudor monarch. Both Mary and Elizabeth were of the Tudor dynasty via Henry Viii. A Bloody Good show!
