Most protective dogs

• Tiny, little, medium, large to extra large most dogs are very protective over their own turf and their family. While a large dog can do much more damage and strike fear into anyone entering the home, a small dog can go up the leg of a person like a rusty can opener.

• German Shepherds are the most protective.

*** for one thing, i know it's not the boxer dog! we have one and someone broke into our house @ 5am and he didn't even wake up.. and they threw a frickn brick through the window ( shaking head) but my parents had a German sheperd and it wus so protective they had to sell it.. rotweilers.. they're a different story... they're just big but they are soo sweet!! people just think they're mean cuz of underdog and rif raf! labs can get big but they are sweet.. pitbulls, well we had 1 and i would hav to say they are protective of owners, everytime someone would ride a bike near us it would flip out!! the only reason people think they are so mean is becuz of dog fighting..
