Why did Chinese civil war start?

The Chinese Civil War began primarily due to ideological differences between the Nationalist Party (Kuomintang) and the Communist Party of China (CPC). After the fall of the Qing Dynasty in 1911, power struggles ensued, exacerbated by issues like warlordism, foreign influence, and socio-economic challenges. The Nationalists aimed to unify China under a republican government, while the Communists sought to establish a socialist state.
