What is the value of a 1943 us silver dollar?

The last U.S. silver dollars were minted in 1935. If your coin has the same Walking Liberty design that's used on current "American Eagle" bullion coins, please turn it over and look at the denomination on the back. You'll find that it's a HALF dollar.
