How does a 5th grade girl make friends?

Just go for it! I'm a girl in sixth grade, and last year I loved having my friends be guys.

Ask her to sit with you at lunch, if you have a group of friends, introduce her, and get her into the conversation.

It is easier if the girl, like me, is tomboyish, because than you can all sit together and talk about guns and gaming. However, if she is a girly-girl, try just being nice.

It is usually easier done than people give it credit for.

See, girls usually feel respected if you ask her.

Another trick is to be friends with her friends. She will most likely go ask her friends if it is a good idea- even though she already knows it is- and if you are friends with them, they will most likely say yes.

If she does say yes to go run around at recess, be your project partner (that sounded gross), or whatever, you have a good chance at being friends with her!
