Does World War 2 fit within the just war theory?

The Holocaust was one just cause fir World War 2.

When the allies declared war on Germany, they had no idea about the genocide of the Jews and everyone else the Nazi's were doing away with, concentration camps didn't come until much later in the war. And if they did have any clue, they had no concept of the scale it would go on to happen on. That's said, it would appear that Britain, France, USA etc. didn't have a justifiable cause and they went to war with the intention of holding onto their land a monetary wealth and resisting the invasion of Germany and Japan. However, if they hadn't have, we'd probably all be speaking German right now and we'd be praising the Holocaust.
