How long does it take to repossess a semi truck?

Less than a minute. The repossessor will know the VIN number, and from that they can find out which key to use... keys aren't unique to the vehicle... one person reads the VIN to verify it's the right truck while the other cranks down the trailer landing gear, disconnects the air lines, and unlocks the fifth wheel jaws.
