TERRI MCMICHAEL FROM California ADDS: I worked in the late seventies for one of dentistrys first combined specialists, DR. SANFORD S. GOLDEN. He was teaching professor at CASE WESTERN RESERVE in CLEVELAND. He was a Perio/Endo specialist. We did everything from root canals to reverse apicoectomies, apical reposition flaps to correct deep pockets, synthetic bone grafting, you name it Dr. Golden would do it to SAVE a tooth. He was the inventor of the contour chair and sold the patent to the RITTER COMPANY. He passed away of prostate cancer about 15 years ago.
