Lions in the wild typically eat about every three to four days, depending on the size of their prey and availability of food. They often consume large quantities in a single meal, sometimes up to 15% of their body weight, which sustains them during periods of fasting. While they may hunt daily, they usually feast less frequently due to the challenges of hunting and the need to share the kill with other members of their pride.
