If you mean intentionally, call a psychologist and ask them. Don't rely on what we think; this is too important for that and you might make things worse. It's probably best not to tell her that you're talking to doctors about it until after you hear what they have to say. If you can't afford professional help, try to find free clinics or see if there's a good book about it. (Psychologists and psychiatrists aren't the same. Psychologists deal with emotional-type issues, and psychiatrists deal with medical/chemical problems.)
