How do you move files from Microsoft to an Apple computer?

There are numerous options for moving files between computers such as: saving them directly to the other computer over a network, by attaching them to an email, by saving them to a USB/Flash Drive or burning onto a CD.

Providing the file conforms to a standard format then there should be no problem reading files from Microsoft software on an Apple computer. Microsoft produces a range of software for Apple's Mac computers, such as Word and Excel, but Apple's own Text Edit and Pages software can handle most Word files.
